About Us
The Le Roux family bought the farm Mooikelder, in the Northern Paarl district, in 1913.
Once the home of the famous Cecil John Rhodes, this 1835 Manor House and original wine cellar are situated on a working farm and offer a sense of well-being and breath-taking views of the Drakenstein Mountains.
The Cellar, home of Mooikelder Aesthetics & Wellness, is a proposed grade II heritage site and has a very unique architectural style. Therefor the farm was named after it, “Mooikelder” “beautiful cellar”.
A living museum
The Cellar, has been renovated and transformed into a modern Day Spa by Yolande Le Roux, therapist and owner.
- MooiKelder is still a working farm, exporting grapes
